How can I create a Yahoo account using my existing email address?

Both Microsoft and Google allow you to create an account on their sites using your own email address instead of @live.com or @gmail.com. When you try to create a Yahoo account it allows you to choose between an @yahoo.com, @ymail.com, or @rocketmail.com email address.

Is there a way to use your existing email address instead of one of these?

How do I get rid of the infinite news feed on Yahoo home page?

Yahoo is my home page. Normally it shows a few news items in several categories. But now it shows a never-ending list of news items that seem to be in no particular order or categories. If I scroll down, it just keeps showing more. I don't see any kind of customize or reset button that allows me to change it back to the standard/default view. Help!

Windows 7 Professional. Chrome browser.

How to connect Google Account to Yahoo Account?

So I have this name@ymail.com account at Yahoo and I also have a name@gmail.com account.

I want to log into Yahoo Mail with the Gmail account using OpenID. However, the only option available in Yahoo Mail is to disconnect other login accounts. How do I even connect in the first place?

If I log in to Yahoo with name@gmail.com, I have the option of creating a new Yahoo Account with either a @yahoo.com or @yahoo.ca domain. But I want to connect an existing Yahoo Account and with the @ymail.com domain instead.

How do I mass-ban members in the new interface (neo) of Yahoo Groups?

Prior to switching UI to the "neo" interface, Yahoo Groups allowed us to enter several email addresses or Yahoo IDs and ban them (URL used to be at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/<groupname>/ban_members). This enabled me to easily maintain and update a banlist for all of my groups.

The new interface doesn't seem to have that feature. Does anybody know?

Is there a way to create a Yahoo! account without having a cell phone that can receive SMS messages?

I'd like to create a Yahoo! account. The signup page won't let me proceed without entering a cell phone number, and it won't recognize my Google Voice number as a valid cell phone number. How to estimate the age of my Yahoo! Account

I'm trying to estimate how old my Yahoo! account is, but I can't find this information anywhere on my profile. Any idea on where this could be displayed or a way to guess it? Unfortunately, there's no old mail there to help me estimating it.

(It's the first account I've registered, ever, so I'm curious :D)

How do I remove myself from somebody's Yahoo friends list?

In Yahoo, all the people who added me as a friend at some point of time (which may be back in 1999) can see me whenever I am online. Due to this issue I am always forced to go invisible in Yahoo, if I ever use it at all.

Is there a way I can remove myself from the friends list of unwanted people and thus stay truly incognito? After getting into bad terms with some chat friends, this had really become desirable.

Schedule an email to send at a specific date [closed]

How do you set up a service to schedule email sending?

I want to send a mail on a specific date and I have tried Gmail, Yahoo! and Zimbra.

I didn't find any options to send an email automatically (maybe this is to prevent spam).

Do you know of any options for scheduled mail sending?

Add non-Google login option to Flickr account

I signed up to Flickr using my Google account. This has become a major usability headache since I moved to China: While flickr itself is not blocked here, Google's authentication redirect dance (which lately even includes YouTube) very often requires a VPN. In addition to that, Yahoo's login page dropped the Facebook and Google login options for users located in China. They still work, but you have to play with the URL to override geo-location with another locale.

How can I associate another login method to my existing Flickr account? I am willing to create a Yahoo account for this purpose.
