Windows Store says my PC isn't connected to the internet

I have been using Windows 8 for the past few days but suddenly since a couple of days I'm not able to use my Windows Store.

Every time I try to open it, it says that my system has to be connected to internet to use the store even though my computer is connected to the internet and it is working too.

This is the message that is shown when I open my app store:

Your PC isn't connected to the internet. To use the store connect to internet and try again

How do you create a Windows 10 Enterprise App Store?

In Windows 10 it is possible to create a Windows 10 Enterprise Store, though I'm not really sure how to do so. I can't find any guidance online, and I'm not even sure the terms to search for.

I have multiple laptops available to use if it isn't possible by just using multiple Hyper-V virtual machines on my desktop. I'm not really sure where to start since I don't have any administrator experience.

I've misconfigured Windows so that Metro apps are no longer shown in the Alt+Tab switcher. How can I undo my mistake?

By default, Windows 8.1 shows both Metro apps (Windows Store apps) and desktop apps in the Alt+Tab switcher. However, I have somehow changed some setting so that Metro apps are no longer shown in the switcher. I don't know how to fix the problem. Does anyone know where the relevant setting is?

How to see what changed in Windows Store apps?

Is there any way to see "change logs" of my Windows Store applications when they come up as available for updates? I can't seem to get any information about what actually changed in several of my apps.

Is there any feature where the Apps in the Windows Store update themselves when there is an update?

Is it possible for the apps in the Windows Store to update themselves whenever an update is found? This could be very useful as one cannot go to AppStore every time and look for updates.

Auto Update of the Apps would be a wonderful feature.

How can I install an app I bought with my Microsoft Account on my kid's local account?

My kids can't buy an app. But I can. And I can install on up to 5 different machines/profiles. What are the steps for me to be able to install an app I bought with my Microsoft Account on my kid's local account (or on my kid's Microsoft Account that can't buy anything)?

Can I browse the Windows App Store outside of Windows 8?

Is there a way to browse the Windows App Store outside of Windows 8?

I want to be able to look at the collection of apps in the store outside of windows, similar to how I can browse through the Apple App Store outside of iTunes.

Does the Release Preview version of Windows 8 not get any app updates?

I've noticed that several of my apps installed on Windows 8 are outdated and even though the app websites mention that they've been updated, none of the updates can be seen from the Windows Store.

Is this because I'm still running on the RP? Do I not get any app updates, now that Win 8 is in RTM?

Can I install a Windows 8 App directly from the app store website?

The online website for the Windows 8 App Store is still in the "preview" stage and doesn't support searching through for apps. However, if you have a direct link to an app (for example, from the apptivate.ms contest), then you can view its information online, without having to open the Store app.

The problem is, once you're on the webpage, there's no way to actually install the app. No "install" button, no "add to my account" or "download" or anything. The only way (that I've seen) to install the app is to go into the Store app and search for the desired app by name, hunt through the list of results, and install it from there.

Is there any way to just download it directly from the Windows App Store website, or at least open the app in the Store app without having to search for it?

How to access Windows 8 Store from Windows 7 [duplicate]

Possible Duplicate:
Can I browse the Windows App Store outside of Windows 8?

Is there a way for me to access the Windows 8 store at http://apps.microsoft.com/ from Windows 7? I can get a direct link to an application's entry in Windows Store, but I cannot browse the store.

Going to http://apps.microsoft.com/ results in

403 - Forbidden: Access is denied.
You do not have permission to view this directory or page using the credentials that you supplied.

Cannot connect to Windows Store [duplicate]

This question already has an answer here:

Are there any settings concerning the connection to the Windows Store?

I find I cannot connect to it after refreshing my computer. I got the following message for two days. I don't think Windows Store is down, so there must be something wrong.

My internet connection is working fine. I can also use the Game store, Bing and anything else, but just can not connect to the Windows Store.

How can I get around windows 8.1 store (& metro apps) not working with UAC disabled

I have UAC disabled because it is annoying and causes more problems that it could ever possibly solve, at least for me.

Here is yet another problem, and it seems to be due to a recent update as I don't remember it in the past.

Even with a MS account, I can't use the store because UAC is disabled. How can I get around this?

Short term I can just enable it, reboot, use store, disable it, reboot and be on my way but there has to be a better way (other than MS getting their software completely right - like that will happen anytime, ever)

Edit: Apparently this is far more of an issue than I originally thought. Now every(?)many metro apps requires UAC.

Anyone aware of the update this got rolled in with?

Thankfully netflix isn't affected which is the only metro app I use at the moment.

What I see: enter image description here

Event Log info:

Activation of app winstore_cw5n1h2txyewy!Windows.Store failed with error: This app can't be activated when UAC is disabled. See the Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational log for additional information.

Windows 8 automatic store updates

I have used the express settings, so Windows updates should already be enabled, but it seems this doesn't affect the Windows Store updates.

It still wants me to click "Install" in the updates screen. How can I make all updates automatic, including app updates?

Is there a way to reinstall windows 10 store entirely?

First some background.

I have upgraded to windows 10 around the time it was released publicly. I have attempted to make use of the store back then, but every time I tried to sign in or download an application, it would crash.

I thought that I would leave it for a while to see if windows update could sort out the problem, seeing as many people had the same issue.

So Now I have tried accessing the store again, only for it to crash every time I attempt to sign in and/or download something.

I attempted a few solutions, but none worked.

I ran sfc /scannow , attempted to use wsreset.exe, and also tried in elevated privileges PowerShell:

Get-Appxpackage -Allusers

followed by:

Add-AppxPackage -register "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.WindowsStore_2015.8.25.0_x64 8wekyb3d8bbwe\AppxManifest.xml" -DisableDevelopmentMode

I would really like to avoid formatting just to get the store working.

What else can I try?

Also, as a note, I disabled logging in with password using netplwiz, if that has anything to do with my issue.

I am surprised why I am not logged in as current user on the windows store. I enabled it again, but also no effect.
