Is there an extension for Google Chrome that would allow me to select a column from a table on the webpage? For example when I want to copy text from just one column of a table.
You can select any row or column in Firefox by holding the Ctrl key, and I was wondering if a similar feature is available in Chrome.

On some websites, when you hit the "Back" button, the browser attempts to go to the previous web page, but the current page opens up again. It happens even when the original page has finished loading. Hitting the "Back" button dozens of times doesn't prevent the behaviour, and I get "stuck" on that page.
What would explain this? It has happened to me on virtually every browser I've ever used.

Sometimes, a webpage gets loaded in the browser but it is not displayed properly. All the elements of the page are there, but they are not there where they should be.
for example (A,B and C are three elements of the page)

Is it possible to save everypage you visit in a browser automatically? I do now want to rely on Cache as a huge cache will slow down the browser. A third party software or an add-on will be helpful.
I use Chrome browser, but any other browser which can help me in my requirement is okay.

I have a large LCD mounted on my wall at my work, and I would like to display some webpage with statistics on it, in a rotating manner - switch to a different webpage every few seconds.
I think that I can run a script to execute and kill the browser with a different webpage every few seconds, but it seems like a very inefficient process. Another idea was to switch the workspaces and keep every browser in a different one, but I don't know how to do that.
Do you know of any way of doing this under Ubuntu?

The webpage is very large (a few MB). I tried these extensions and they all fail:
- Screen Capture (by Google) - I get a new tab with no image in it
- Pixlr Grabber - I get a "500" request error after pressing save
- Capture Webpage Screenshot - Fireshot - telling me that the webpage is too big and it will be saved to RAM, after which I get an error:
Insufficient video memory: You need at least -2365 MB of RAM (that's ridiculous, and I have I like 1 GB)
- Webpage & WebCam Screenshot - I get no image
- Awesome Screenshot - Capture & Annotate - It says
capturing..., and when finishes it open a new tab with some buttons. When I press "done" it says preparing your image... forever.
Do you know any website screen capture tools that actually work?

Webpages in Google Chrome do not load correctly from time to time. I can't reproduce it, it just happens. Some times it happens when I load the browser other times it happens when I am just browsing.
Just now I went to five different web sites which 3 out of 5 of them did not load correctly. I have attached a photo of how Super User loaded the first time I loaded it. If I refreshed it it will load correctly. Facebook is bad like this. Some times Facebook will load correctly but some of there back end scripting may not load so the page may not refresh automatically.
Not sure what is going on. I have tried other browsers (Firefox and Internet Explorer) and they seem to be working correctly. Chrome seems to be acting up only on this computer. All my computers are running Windows 8 and I have removed Chrome completely off this computer and re-installed. I even disabled all extensions and cleared all the caches. I even tried running Chrome without being logged in. Not sure what else to do at this point.
Extensions being used:
- Facebook Photo Zoom
- Google Mail Checker
- MightyText
- Downloads
I have disabled all my extensions with no luck. I use all the extensions across all my computers and only one is having an issue.
An example of superuser.com not loading correctly:
When I refresh the problem will go away until it happens again. Sometimes it takes two or three refreshes in order for it to correctly load.

Is there some tool within Opera, or possibly an add-on, which will let me take a screenshot of an entire web page? I usually use Screengrab to do this with Firefox, but in this situation I want a screenshot of the page as Opera renders it (because I want to show the page as rendered with HTML5 form controls like date and time).
I am currently using Opera 10.60 x86_64 on Fedora 12, so solutions that work in browser would be preferable rather than external programs.
