Trello provides six color codes for cards. I can change the name of those labels, but I don't seem to be able to add more.
I would like to label cards by "service area", and it happens we have twelve of those. (Maybe that's too many service areas, but that's the setup we have, and while it might need changing, changing it to fit a new tool isn't the right approach.)
Is there a way to add additional labels? Is there a different tagging mechanism which would suit the purpose better?

I'd like to filter so that I only see cards that are not labelled. I can see how to filter for any combination of labels except "only show me those that have no label". I think this would be very useful, but can't figure out how to do it.

I would like to use labels to help prioritize cards in Trello (e.g., "High", "Medium", "Low"). Is it possible to filter the cards displayed by Label (e.g., only showing the cards with the "High" label)?

I don't see how to remove a label from a card. A work-around is if I define one of the six available to mean "no label", but that leaves a meaningless color and reduces to only 5 useful colors.

When I use Trello at work, certain specific actions consistently fail to get persisted back to the server. The two that I am always having issues with are:
- Removing labels
- Deleting items from checklists
As an example, let's say I create a new card and assign label A. I then come back later and remove label A, but assign label B.
The outcome is at first an orange message in the top right corner:
Sending...
This is followed by a red message in the top right corner:
Connection interrupted. Retrying 1 action.
This message never goes away. If I refresh Trello, the card will have both labels A and B assigned.
My workaround at the moment is to open the Android app on my phone and remove the label.
I'm guessing this is related specifically to our work environment - the firewall, proxy, ISA server, etc. I have tried using Fiddler to see which specific HTTP requests are failing, but as soon as Fiddler is hooked in as a proxy all external web sites stop working.
My question is, does anyone know what is special about these specific actions and why they might be failing inside my work firewall?
Note - I don't believe this a bug in Trello as it works perfectly outside of work!

I have a few Trello boards. I'd like the label names to be the same on all of them. I'd also like those label names to be the default for new boards.
Is this presently possible or do I need to submit a feature request?

I've found a couple of related questions on this but the most recent is from 2012.
I'm trying to save a link to a filtered view of my Trello board. Is this possible? Specifically, I'd like to save a link to all cards with a particular label.

We use labels to assign a priority to our cards. Red = High, Yellow = Medium, Blue = Low. Cards are placed on the list in any order. Is there a way to re-order the list by the labels? I know that I can filter the items by the label but that makes all other items on the list disappear. I may need to change the priority of something but I need to understand all the items in the list to be able to accomplish that.

- Card 2:Blue
- Card 3:Red
- Card 4:Yellow
- Card 5:Yellow

If a label is no longer being used on any cards, is there a way to remove it from the list of available labels?
For example, our board contains two red labels, "URGENT" and "Urgent". I have cleaned up our board to remove all instances of "Urgent" and would like to prevent it's appearance again in the list of labels.

Based on the list provided by in a previous answer and my cursory experimentation, my assumption (though it is only that) is that any change which does not appear in the board activity log will not trigger a notification. Am I wrong, and will adding a label notify the members?

I've a situation where I want to be able to filter Trello multiple ways using the UI. For example, say I want to apply a Project C label and also a In Review label and then filter for just that using the sidebar.
Is the only way to do this just adding a lot of items to the main color labels and hoping it doesn't get confusing? Is there a plugin or a powerpack that will help me do this?

Every list has a "Move all cards in this list" menu option. Once filtered by labels, this option remains the same, not affected by the filter. In other words, it will still move all cards, not just filtered ones. (Plus the list shows the total number of cards, it would be nice to see how many fit the filter, right?)
How to do that then? (Imagine like hundreds of cards. Keyboard shortcuts help, but still is pretty mechanical work.)

It seems it's possible to change label's name, but I can't figure out how.
I found the label list in the board preferences, but the names aren't editable, they turn from grey to black when my mouse comes over, but that's all.
How can I change those labels' names?
