In Gmail, my signature will not show up unless I click "show trimmed content" even though I have checked the box to remove this in the settings.
How can I resolve this issue ?

Gmail now supports multiple rich-text signatures. However it prepends "--" before the signature. Is there a way to disable this?

In Gmail, how can I have customized signatures based on the From: address?
I have Gmail set up to fetch also my work email account so I can have all my email in one app. I use a signature with my work emails, and Gmail auto-inserts this for me. But it places it into every message, even non-work messages. I end up manually deleting the work specific portion of the signature for every non-work message I compose.
Is there a way to have a different signature for each "from" address you use? Or a way to disable the signature on a per message basis (other than manual deletion)?

Is there any way to add HTML markup signature in Gmail settings? I mean, insert some HTML markup without using rich editor, just inserting HTML?

I have a Google Apps e-mail account. I want to include the company logo to the left of my signature text.
The only way I can find to do this so far is to build it so that the text is part of the image. I do not want to do it this way, because then the text part would not be visible to anyone not showing images in their e-mail client.
Is there a way to make this work?

I've recently signed up for Google Apps because of the email support. I only use the web based gmail client for all my mail. I'd like to have a professional email signature for each email that I send that includes a small image which is the Logo of my company. How can include such an signature with Gmail?

In Gmail, I have a number of accounts that I can choose to send from. (Old e-mail address, one used just for gaming, one for my blog, etc.)
How can I have a unique signature for each depending on which I choose?

I couldn't get it working. Base64 is accepted at the time of creating signature & the image also displays in compose window, but recipient of email do not see any image.
But it will be helpful as currently images in Gmail Signature can be only referred by URLs. So base64 image format is an option but not sure if its supported.

Okay so I read here how to pull up your Google Profile badge by itself. But can anybody figure out a way to add it to my GMail signature? Seems like a no-brainer for Google to self promote this way. Does it need to be submitted as a GMail Lab? Also adding a static image of this with the links broken would not do.
Edit: Now that I have my answer lets suggest this to Gmail Labs by Starring this feature request

Is there a way to automatically change/adjust the Gmail Signature by the Emails recipient? I'm thinking of adjustable rules or a plugin for the Gmail Webclient.
For example:
I'm preparing a mail for adam@mail.com. Normally it would add my standard signature "Best, Devan", but because I created a rule for adam@mail.com Gmail sees that the Email is addressed at adam@mail.com and automatically changes the signature that is added to the Email Footer to "Sincerely, Devan Loper".
EDIT: I already know about the Gmail Lab named "canned responses" that does something similar but it doesn't automate by recipient. That's the problem.

I know how to add an image to my Gmail signature, but unless I'm mistaken, this image will not be included as an attachment and thus has to be externally hosted. Newer mail clients don't load external images by default, so my company would like everyone to use inline images. For those of us that use Gmail as God intended, in a Chrome browser, and not via Outlook, how can we create a signature that includes an inline image?

Currently I'm trying to search through my rather large email archive on GMail.
Unfortunately the words I like to find also occur in almost any email footer as the signature text.
While I understand that there is no entity type "signature" in a plain email body, it seems that GMail is still (limited) capable of detecting signatures (and collapsing them with those ... buttons).
My question:
Is there a search operator to tell GMail to search for texts but omit the signature?
