I've used Reddit Enhancement Suite (RES) in Safari for some time now to filter out stuff I don't want to see, but I'd really like to block all self posts. I've tried going through the options, but nothing jumps out at me as a way to block them.
Is there a way to do it with RES? Or is there another extension for Safari that'll do it?

I understand Reddit uses some kind of Markdown as well. Has anyone written a Chrome/FF userscript that imports the Stack Exchange toolbox (click here to Bold/Italic/Add Link) into Reddit?

I love Reddit's interface, I'd like to use Reddit to access the feeds that I normally use Google Reader for. How can I treat arbitrary RSS feeds, such as BBC News and ycombinator, like subreddits?

I want to be able to do this, so that no one who happens to look at my screen gets to know my reddit username and then have a look at my posts on reddit - thus removing my anonymity.

I have two Reddit accounts. My main one I use every day and struggle to get points. I did a throw away for a wildly popular post. I'd love to move the points from the throw away into my normal account. Any ideas?

How to sort posts on Reddit by number of comments?
I'd find this more useful than sorting by votes.

I'd like to save references and copies to/of all the comments, and submissions made by the account, as well as a listing of upvoted/downvoted links, in addition to private messages, in a user-friendly and presentable format, kind of like how facebook account exports work with styled HTML files in a .zip archive.
What's the closest one can come to this?

Yesterday I upvoted one comment, immediately I logged off. My upvote is gone.
If I login again it is showing again my upvote.
I saw other person's comment karma there is no change in it for my upvote.
I asked them (moderators) they reply me: Upvotes: karma is not a 1:1 ratio. Which I didn't quite understand.

I couldn't find it easily in their FAQ: When does your link karma increase 1 point?
I don't think it's a one-one relationship with votes, as some of my stuff got upvoted and it didn't change immediately
What about comment karma? Is it the same formula but for votes on comments?

I'm a moderator on a reddit and am really liking it.
The issue I have is that I would like to have a couple posts shown above the new ones
Source: (StackOverflow)
So, I just started a reddit.
Since I'm pretty new at this, I first made it private and played around with the buttons to see what each did (e.g., how are remove and delete different?).
I then added some people and they could post normally and their posts would appear immediately. Once I figured things out better, I went public.
Now, however, I'm getting reports from people that their posts do not show on the reddit's homepage, although the post permalink showed nothing wrong.
Here is a live example: I now approved his post.
The kicker is that when I, with my mod access, click on the post permalink, I see the post is marked as "[removed]", with two buttons: "approve link" and "confirm link removal."
When a mod removes a post, it is shown as "[removed by xyz]". I thus assumed that the author self-deleted his post -- but he didn't.
The only place where I could discover his post is in the Spam page (/r/gamerec/about/spam/
). WTF?
What's going on? Did I fumble with permissions? Is this by design? If so, is there some way to disable this "approval" process?

I just subscribed to a personalized feed of all my Reddit subscriptions yesterday.
It doesn't seem to be very reliable though. Perhaps it's only updated once every X hours? Several times, I found items on my Reddit that have posted hours ago, but did not show up on the feed.
What's up with that?
