I have a camera (not a cellphone) that inserts gps exif info into pictures.
Fact is: using the "gps on" all time drains the battery. So i thought: what about taking just one picture with gps on, and them at home add this exif info to the others?
I would like to know if there are applications that you know of that can help me in this scenario: having a photo with exif information about gps, copy this same gps info to a batch of another pictures.
(I prefer Linux/Mac solutions, but I accept windows as well. I don't mind if it's a command line application.)

I cannot seem to figure out how to print multiple pictures per page using Chrome OS. Would appreciate any advice. I'm googling and searching for a Chrome OS app or extension now, but so far no luck.
I can print a picture no problem to my cloud-enabled printer. The problem is I want to print more than 1 picture per page to save paper.
Thank you!

I'd like to be able to specify a local file path for an image on a web page delivered via http using Chrome - is this possible?

How do I copy a picture from a file to the clipboard?
I can just select the file and press ctrl-c
. But that wouldn't copy it to clipboard. It'll just be marking it if I want to copy the file somewhere else.
I can open the file in Paint and then change the selection to cover all the picture. I need something simpler.

Recently, I'm writing a paper which needs the following figure:

I drew it on an A4 paper and scanned it into my PC. The quality of the picture is not that good. Is there any simple tool with which I can draw such stuff of high resolution?

Here's the image. Clearly's got a blue tint. But when I download it, it's all just black and white.

Any idea why?

I added a watermark to my page from
Page Layout > Watermark > Custom Watermark... > Picture Watermark
However, the resulting watermark was dim and fainted like it is transparent. I want it to look like the original image; as if I inserted it from Insert > Picture.
How do I adjust transparency of watermark?

I am customizing my Windows 8 installation and when I went to change the picture of the user accounts I saw there were nothing to choose from besides images you may already have or photos you can take.
Are there no stock pictures in Windows 8? How to access them / where are they in case there are?

I have no option to create a Picture Password for my user account in Windows 8, what am I doing wrong? Incidentally, I see no option to create a PIN logon either.

Question: is this policy setting even relevent as my machine is not part of a domain?

Recently bought new monitor. And connected it with HDMI. No new monitor extends my laptops in-built monitor. There is 1 problem with white color (all other colors are awesome)
This is how Windows 7 Picture viewer and Windows Live Photo Viewer shows picture. (As you see not only picture but background of viewer is another tone).

This is how Photoshop shows it

Both monitors are showing color like that. How to fix that problem?

In Windows 7, you get a fair bit of control over how pictures are imported (e.g. when you connect a camera or SD card). Specifically, it lets you choose the folder structure that you'd like. For instance, you can have folders be created to match the dates that pictures were taken, which goes a long way to keeping things organized.
But in Windows 8, I have not been able to locate the equivalent settings. The 'Photos' app handles the Import, and the only thing it asks is the folder name where you want everything to get dropped, regardless of the date they were taken.
Is there a way to do this? I've been able to do everything I needed in Windows 8... until I hit this :)

I don't have a phone that can upload a picture to Google Goggles... is there a way I can use this image search engine from something that isn't a phone, like my laptop? Some sort of extension accessing the Google Goggles API would make the most sense to me.
