Been using Evernote for two years and as much as I love the ease of use and Twitter integration I find the UI ugly and hard to use. Anybody know of an alternative? One with social media and email integration. Thanks :)
Please limit your answers to apps that are under active development. My apologies for the vague question @Slavo.

It seems to me that the tumblr note counts are wrong (even in dashboard),
For example it will say I have 11 notes, when clicking on "11 notes" there are only two notes loaded down the bottom,
The difference in notes is not consistent, nor does there seem to be any pattern,
Is this a Tumblr issue, or an account issue?

In Evernote, is it possible to have multiple separate pages in a single note?
I have looked around but didn't find anything, Am I missing something?
Also, if this feature is not available in Evernote, can someone suggest me some alternate product?

Does anyone know of any (preferably online) tools that allow you to create a visual scrap book of online research, with links to pages, snippets of text, and images?
Maybe something similar to Notefish? (I couldn't work out any way to get images into the notes).
Here's an example page you're supposed to be able to achieve with Notefish.
Does anyone know of something similar to/better than Notefish?

In a Facebook note, you can tag a person or a page.
If you tag a person, it seems to appear as a notification to that person,
as well as to their friends.
If you tag a page, it's really not clear how it relates to that object.
I recently tagged a page that I am the owner of, and I saw no result.
Can anybody explain what page tagging does or is for?

I need a light weight web based note keeping application. The app should be runnable on Android/ iphone.
I need such an app because I find that I do grocery shopping once in a week, and by the time I get to do shopping, I forget what I want to buy already.
So I need such an app so that I can jot down my necessities in my daily life, and view the list when I'm doing the shopping.
Does such an app already available?
Gmail task is a good choice. But it is a bit too general.
Edit: Thanks for all the recommendation! But I would prefer the one with OpenID support even though it has less features, rather than the one without with more features.

What are some good online note annotation sites?
Ideally, I'm envisioning something that allows you to easily take structured (indented lists / outline form) notes in class and organize them properly.
If I were to build something myself I would include the ability to attach a ppt or pdf so one could view lecture slides alongside their own notes, but that is wishful thinking.
I've come across stu.dicio.us, which looked promising, but they appear to be down for the time being. Any ideas? Or should I make this a Christmas break project of mine?

I have used Google Docs for my documents.
And I just knew Evernote which has some awesome features.
Evernote is very nice.
Especially I like the features.
- tagging (and it can be searched later)
- clipping to Evernote
- send data via email (you know, blablabla.96dcb@m.evernote.com)
I want to remember everything as soon as I can.
And Evernote is a powerful tool what I wanted.
But I've used Google Docs for long time, and I'm using many other Google services.
Can Google Docs do these? -or are there official plans?
I don't care if it is little inconvenient.

I am looking for a notepad in the cloud.
And use them as my reference book, so that I can search by content, file name, edit them.
My best FREE notepad for the moment is, this one:
- edit
- add new
- read as raw (much cleaner to me)
- but can not make as string filenames
- can't search
- everybody can view it
- and also its not FREE

Is there anything which I can use, to keep such TUI notes (simple coder mind and clean code book as private), with my source codes and hints, etc.
Readable as like this: http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2396.txt (clean and fresh)

When I create a draft note and save it I find that I can only publish and not schedule. Am I missing anything?
Is there a workaround for that?

Somehow in cleaning out deleted emails from my iPad, I must have hit a wrong button. The list of notes is gone from the "List" app. Puzzling?

Evernote has a buggy beta, but then they stopped development on it citing a few issues. Right now there's nothing that can sync. Maybe I need to switch from ol' symbian.

I use Google Docs for most of my document creation / management needs, but one thing I've found seriously lacking is a note / task management system along the lines of OneNote.
Does anything exist in the Google world which is suitable, or if not, then just generally on the web?
