Netflix: Cannot see option to watch movies online

My friend just sign up for Netflix premium account. He can browse through the collections but all he sees is just an option "Add to discs". I guess, Netflix gives an option to see the content online too instead of just ordering up via DVD/Blu-ray.

Mass-remove movies from Netflix queue?

My wife and I tend to gradually accrue a huge list of movies in our Netflix queues, especially our Instant queue. Eventually, despite removing movies as soon as we watch them, the remaining unwatched flotsam becomes annoying to page through (via the Xbox 360 or Wii clients) and tedious to fix (try manually removing 471 movies using netflix.com ...ugh).

Add current movies to Netflix queue

I used to have the DVD service and I added current movies in my queue so I would get them when they were released. I just renewed my membership but changed to streaming. Is there a way to add current movies to the Instant Queue?

Can I hide the synopsis of the current or upcoming episodes of a series?

When a Netflix show is paused, eventually the synopsis of the current episode will show on-screen. Also, when you roll over the "next" icon ( ▶| ), the synopsis of the next episode will show on-screen.

Is it possible to disable either or both of these synopses?

To be more specific, I am watching Breaking Bad for the first time. However, whenever I need to pause or I accidentally roll over the Next Episode button, I end up learning things about the current or upcoming episode that I didn't know, yet. While the spoilers are limited, they are still spoilers. Is there any way to prevent these occurrences?

Clearing watch history for television episodes on Netflix

I am re-watching the Arrested Development TV series through Netflix. Having watched it before, Netflix is showing me my watched history:

When I get to the end of an episode and click the "Next episode" button, I usually end up where I left off last time I watched it, which is somewhere in the credits at the end of the episode.

Is there any way to reset or clear the watched history for a DVD so that the episodes each start at the beginning again?

Low volume while using Netflix Instant Play on a Mac

I'm experiencing very low volume on my MacBook Pro (running Snow Leopard) while using Netflix Instant Play. All of my other video sites are working fine, and my computer's volume is set to full. I've had the same problem on a Leopard MacBook Pro. Are there fixes within Netflix or for my computer itself that I can try?

After so long, I am prompted to click a button to prove that I haven't gone idle. This is an inconvenience to me, especially if I am watching Netflix on one monitor and gaming on another. For example, when playing Skyrim, ALT + TAB-ing can cause the game to crash. "Recommended for you" seems to list all movies according to your personalized rating, but I'm interested in the global rating toplist (similar to IMDB's Top250). There's also a Netflix Top 100 that's based on rental throughput, not rating. There are some websites that have Netflix toplists but they are restricted to the subset of movies that are available on the streaming service. I want to see the non-streamable movies too.

Is this list available? If it is not officially listed on the website, perhaps somebody mined all the data recently.
