Microsoft Outlook 2003:
I used to have two profiles with my Outlook, but I deleted it and now only have one. It is still asking me for what profile to choose. I have tried selecting the option to set it as my default multiple times, yet it still asks me. How can I stop it from asking me?

I have a highly secured computer windows server 2003 where my outlook express is configured, i want to forward all the mails coming from Outlook to gmail. I put some auto forward rule in outlook but its not working. (May be auto forwarding is disabled).
I can forward mails manually.
Is there anyway to get rid off this problem?

Suddenly after months with, as far as I know, no changes, the paper clip assistant appears everytime I want to send an email from Outlook.
How can I kill this thing? Drowning might damage the computer.

In my work as a developer I sometimes find myself sending details emails with screenshots to illustrate some point or problem. The content of these screenshots is often text. So knowing that PNG is much better at handle compression of images with text, I save my screenshots as PNG and insert them into my email. However whenever I check my sent mail, the images are clearly being sent as a JPG because they look horribly compressed.
I'm using Outlook 2003 as my email program. Is there some setting I can change to make Outlook send inline images as PNGs?

I'd like to build a list of all the people who email me but can't figure out a way of doing it.
Tools such as Xobni offer a list, but it is not possible to select the data from the 'analytics'.
How can I harvest this data?
EDIT:
Needs to be recursive from root inbox folder

I need to add a custom script to process Outlook meeting requests. (see this question)
The dropdown menu for selecting scripts is empty and there doesn't appear to be a way to add scripts. How can I add a script that will be available via Outlook's rules?

Every week I have to do the same report for my bosses. Our bug tracker sends us emails, and to be sure I caught everything I often need to search Outlook for all the bug email's I've received. If I could search the email subject using a regular exrpession, my life would be much easier.
Can I search my inbox using a regular expression in Outlook 2003?

Is there a way to start up Outlook automatically on login, but minimised to system tray (notification area)? I don’t want my inbox showed in my face when I start my PC, only a discrete notification when new mail arrives.
I’m using Outlook 2003, if that matters.

Is it possible to change the format of a forwarded email when using Outlook rules?
The ultimate result would be pull data from a regularly received pre-formated email and generate a basic forward with the select data.

Some folks in my office don't like Outlook reminders and send meeting invitations without the reminder flag set. I often forget to override this setting when accepting the meeting request and consequently forget to attend the meeting. Is there a way to force Outlook to assign my preferred reminder time (15 minutes) on all incoming requests that don't have the reminder flag set? Overriding all incoming reminder flags (i.e. the nuclear option) is also acceptable.
<rhetorical>What kind of dumb calendar system prefers the sender's reminder flag over the user's?</rhetorical>
Edit: A Google search found this script that can force reminders on existing appointments. However, it would need to be run daily (or more) to be effective. I would prefer a setting or registry change that makes the functionality automatic.

So I have a message in Outlook with about 30 recipients. I need to respond to those recipients from my Gmail account. No problem, right? I'll just cut and paste from Outlook to Gmail.
In Outlook:
To: Freddy Oo <foo@example.com>; Barbara Ar <bar@example.com>;
Basil Az <baz@example.com>; Quinn Ux <quux@example.com>
Copied and pasted into other programs:
Freddy Oo; Barbara Ar; Basil Az; Quinn Ux
The command copied just the names and not the email addresses to the clipboard.
How can I do a verbatim copy? I tried the Scraper program which is supposed to copy text from dialog boxes or other Windows, and it failed.
I even tried cut+paste / drag and drop from Outlook to Word and Excel. I got the same result, the email addresses aren't put onto the clipboard. Grrrrr.

I am having a problem with Outlook 2003 search on 2 desktops - 1 XP, 1 Windows 7. They are both connected to the same exchange 2007 server. There are several other users connected to the same server, inside the lan and outside using RPC none of whom are having this issue.
When the user searches Outlook, search starts from the date Outlook OST file was created and then searches more recent items. The result is that if user is searching for some phrase, e.g. "Blade" in their inbox folder, search results from months ago are returned first then the more recent results.
If i delete the OST file and restart Outlook it rebuilds a new one, and resynchronizes normally, then search works normally again, however approximately 6 weeks later the problem will start again (see second paragraph).
Anyone experience this ? Any Suggestions ?
