I love the idea to have a web app that let me first plan a meeting, and then write notes and action to be made that was discussed in that meeting. But TimeBridge forces me to send emails to the people that will be in that meeting (that's because is primary used as multi user schedule). Most of my clients don't know anythig about internet, web apps, etc.
Is there an alternative that is like timebridge, but easier to use in "solo" mode?

I know that meetup.com can export group events in iCal format, but can it import them from iCal format, or do I (a paying subscriber) have to use either the meetup.com API or web interface to create new events (and/or update existing events)?

When I get an event (e.g, from meetup.com) email in my Gmail, I have to copy and paste it bit by bit to change it into a Google Calendar entry. Is there an easy way (open calendar format) to move events from Gmail to Google Calendar? Meetup.com provides ical calendar for individual meetups. It doesn't provide a shared ical calendar that contains all meetup events but only a shared meetup list for the meetups where one clicked "I attend".
I would like to have one calendar in Google Calendar that mixes together multiple meetups. Is it possible to do this in Google Calendar? Can I combine calendars together?

I am leading a free web development study group and we need some way to meet online in some kind of virtual classroom.
Do you know if any free service exists that has these characteristics:
- Free or very cheap.
- Desktop sharing with a group of around 10 people.
- Change what participant is showing his screen. (This is very important)
- It would be nice if we could record our sessions.
