How can I import from ReadItLater to Instapaper?

I've all but migrated to Instapaper from ReadItLater, but can't acomplish the import and am bummed by the options of using both for a while or (gasp) manual click-add import of couple of hundreds of links.
any other ideas?

Thanks ,

How does Instapaper really work?

My company is considering adding an Instapaper button to our content-driven site, but we can't seem to find any information on how it really works. All the site says is that it "saves the page to your account."

Does it actually save the content of the page to an Instapaper server, or does it save a link to the URL somewhere and then fetch the URL live when you go to your account?

How to automatically synchronise/save bookmarked websites to Pocket or Instapaper?

I would like to be able to access my bookmarked websites when I am working without an internet connection. Aside this background, is it possible to automatize the process of saving by bookmarked website to either Pocket or Instapaper to have them accessible offline?

The ideal solution would be that every newly bookmarked website―but also all existing bookmarks―are automatically synchronised with Instapaper or Pocket.

Instapaper read now and read later

I can use the "Read Later" to put some article in Instapaper. And I can use the "Instapaper Text" bookmarklet to view the article directly (see http://www.instapaper.com/save).

But I want to do this at the same time; read now and save it to read later. Is that possible to accomplish?

Send instapaper articles to free.kindle address

Is there a way to send articles to my kindle from Instapaper using the username@free.kindle.com address? I don't need the articles delivered over 3G, but would prefer to have them delivered over Wi-Fi instead of having to do the manual download, load to Calibre, then sync with Kindle dance.

How to read PDFs with Instapaper?

Instapaper currently does not support PDF files, says official support.

But is there a way to easily convert a PDF to a "public" HTML file so that it is readable on Instapaper?

Is there another way to access PDFs on Instapaper?

Instapaper RSS feed is not working?

I have been using Instapaper for a long time. I have used RSS feed from it and Google Reader for feed reader. Somehow this stopped working for about a month ago. I don't get any feeds from Instapaper although I save pages with it all the time. Do you know why this does not work anymore?

Sending a link to Instapaper FROM a Kindle

Say you are surfing using the Kindle 3's actually-pretty-good web browser, and you want to read something later, or perhaps the page contains video or something else that the Kindle can't display.

How could you send a link to your Instapaper account FROM your Kindle (3)?

The browser has bookmarks but I don't know how to get Instapaper's bookmarklet in to there since it's JavaScript, or even if that would work.

Instapaper/Readability-like app with seamless Nook support?

Instapaper and Readability both have the insanely cool feature of sending your articles to read directly to your Kindle, so you can read them offline on an e-ink screen.

Is there an app or service that has similar support for Nook? I know Instapaper can generate ePubs for the Nook, but to my knowledge they need to be manually downloaded and are not automatically sent to the Nook.

I would be OK with a desktop solution that automatically synchronizes the Nook with the service while plugged in to USB; not as convenient as over-the-air, but better than manually downloading ePubs.

How can I archive multiple articles on Instapaper at once?

Instapaper is useful for automatically sending articles to my Kindle. However, once they're sent they still remain in my reading list, unarchived. I'm looking for a way to automatically archive them, or to mass archive all articles older than a certain date at once.

How much stuff can I send to my email@Kindle.com, and for how long will Amazon.com keep it?

I often send mobi files to my Kindle using the email and I also use Instapaper to send myself links weekly.

Till now I only used this feature with my Kindle connected to the Wi-Fi. I guess that if it's not connected I'd receive my stuff as soon as I connect my Kindle to my Wi-fi network.

But a few questions arise:

  1. How much stuff can be stored in the amazon.com storage before they just drop the data? (I guess they can't have endless storage)
  2. For how long will Amazon.com keep my stuff on the server if my Wi-Fi connection won't turn on?

On my account I have the following settings:

  • Whispersync turned on.
  • Personal Document Archiving NOT enabled.

Printing capabilities for offline reading app (like Instapaper/ReadItLater)

I'm looking for a way to save articles for later, like with Instapaper or ReadItLater, but in a way they can easily be printed in batch (e.g. select the last dozen and hit print, and it would then archive them). I don't mind if it's one of those services with some third-party tool, or a completely different service.
