Is it possible to resize an image (a Drawing file) within Google Drive?
I created a new drawing in Google Drive. When I download the image as a PNG file and then upload it to where I want to use it (Google+ profile), the image seems to be too large (Google+ is cropping the edges out). I would like to try to reduce the size of the image before downloading the PNG.
Note: I am doing this using only online tools since I am working on a Chromebook. Otherwise I would just use a desktop application to change the image size. Suggestions for other online tools that I can use to resize the image are also welcome!

Whenever I try to upload a png with transparent background on twitter , I am getting a white background. I tried to upload different sizes pngs (24x24, 256x256, 512x512),but it didn't help. It appears twitter re-sizes the image & the transparency is lost.
However some other profile pics with transparent background (uploaded in 2011) is working just fine.
Any idea how do I upload a avatar with transparent background?
Edit: I don't really care about bigger pics(73x73). I just want my timeline profile pics(48x48) to stay transparent.

I find SumoPaint great for doing quick and dirty edits of photos when I dont have anything else available, and I was hoping I could create a .png file with a transparent background for Iphone app tab bar images, but cant figure it out.

Basically, whenever I have a screenshot that I would need to upload onto the net, I often have to do this:
- Do a screenshot;
- Open an editor (like Paint);
- Paste image and save (to desktop)
- Go to imgur.com and upload it
- Copy the URL (ta-da)
- Go to desktop and delete the screenshot
Basically, I'm looking for a webapp that allows me to do these steps more easily, as such:
- Take a screenshot
- Go to that-imba-app.com
- Paste image and click submit
- Copy the URL (ta-da)
Is there such an app (web app, of course)?

How can one change the aspect ratio of a Wikipedia image?
For example, in the International Code of Signals, an example of the Whiskey Flag (referring to the Letter W) is saved with an aspect ratio of 3:2:
[[File:Whiskey flag.svg]]
It is also legitimate to display these flags with an aspect ratio of 1:1, and I'm trying to figure out how to do so with the existing material.
Based on the information at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Extended_image_syntax, I've experimented with the following:
[[File:Whiskey flag.svg|50x50px]]
[[File:Whiskey flag.svg|50px|x50px]]
[[File:Whiskey flag.svg|50px|upright=1.33]]
[[File:Whiskey flag.svg|50px|upright=0.66]]
But all of these have been unsuccessful.
Is it possible to change the aspect ratio of an image in Wikipedia? And, if so, how?

I do not understand why pictures that I do not want to edit are editable in Google+ whereas those which I do want to edit are not editable. I do not see Edit button for them. I hear that Google Drive/Docs may have apps for image editing. May be I am more lucky there. But how can I import the Google+ photos to Google Drive?

I drew a figure to download by appending many different images from my computer. Now I try to download as .png file but it does not give any respond after it opens a new tab. I tried it on both Chrome and Firefox but result is same. I only can download it as xml file. So the thought that there would be a size limit to convert the figure any image type. Is it true? Is there any such limitation ?

Currently using http://shopify.com for my shop.
What are some ways to do custom image sizes in Shopify themes?
I've been using phpThumb to provide thumbnails so far. It recently bugged out and I'm looking for alternatives.
I'm interested in the following ( most preferable at the top ):
- apps that integrate directly with Shopify
- cheap cdn services that will perform image resizing on the fly
- tiny php scripts that handle the image resizing on PHP server ( and cache a local copy )
- interesting theming techniques using Shopify
I'm interested in all answers and will up-vote all the ones that accomplish this.
The best answer will be one that accomplishes this goal the cheapest and least hacky.

On the Kickstarter site they write:
Your project image size should be 1024x768 pixels (4:3 ratio). We accept most major image formats, but for best results upload one of our recommended file types: JPEG, PNG, or BMP. The maximum image size is 50MB.
So does that mean no matter how many pixels my image is, it will be downsized to 1024x768? If so, why accept up to 50MB files? If not, what is the maximum pixel size that is not always downsized?

I have this link of a structure of a chemical compound (http://pubchem.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/image/imgsrv.fcgi?cid=4684&t=l) which I want to convert into a jpg file. imgur doesn't accept this link directly probably because it doesn't end in .jpg or .png etc in my mobile version.
I can't save anyhting locally. An online way of doing this is what I needed. A solution based solely on the browser.
How can I possibly do this conversion?

On a regular basis I take pictures with my Android phone and upload them to Google drive. Sometimes I take the picture upside down and want to rotate it. In Google Drive how do you do this? I found these instructions but they don't make any sense, maybe I'm in the wrong mode or something but I don't see any "rotate handle".
Out of curriousity I've noticed some programs open images upside down and others do it right side up? For example I've downloaded one of the pictures from Google Drive and when I opened it locally with my computer it was right side up.
