I tried to translate the English noun hint to French and I was surprised to get three different translations, depending on if I inputted hint, Hint or HINT (resp. soupçon, Astuce and CONSEIL).
My question is not about the translation but about why Google Translate seems to use case sensitive translations? In which case should it be useful?

I have a site that is using Google Translate embeded on the site because it will have users of various languages using the site. On the site there are some different spelling for words. Some of these are meant to be fun and not real words. For instance on the site we have the word Kreate

.
Is there a way to tell Google that certain words equal other words and then translate them accordingly?

Whenever I use Google Translate I get a notification about Adobe Flash being disabled:

Things seem to work normally without Flash, so I don't understand why the translator is even trying to use it. Is there some Flash-based functionality I'm missing? Would Google Translate be faster or more accurate with Flash enabled?
I've tried searching flash in Google Translate Help but it did not match any answers.

http://www.translate.google.com/translate_tts?tl=en&q=hello

http://www.translate.google.com/translate_tts?tl=zh-TW&q=你好
only speaks Mandarin
Can anyone tell me how to let it speak "Cantonese".
I tried to google for this but, it seems that Cantonese TTS has not released. It is true?

Google translate has an option named Improve this translation which is claimed to be a tool to improve translation quality by users' feedback.
But is there also away to make Google translate aware of its pronunciation mistakes?
For example it puts the stress of word attempt
on the first syllable which is wrong:
attempt - Google translate
Is there any workaround for this problem?

- Click on the "input text" window
- write something that should be translated.
It frustrates me that I have to use my mouse to do step 3. Is there a way to avoid doing this?
It's obviously nothing big, but it would save me a couple of seconds now and then.
