Pinning songs on Google Music

Google Music allows me to 'pin' songs in Android so that I can listen to them while offline. Is it possible to do this on a computer as well?

All of my music is stored on my home PC, and now I can listen to it on Google Music, but I would like to be able to download songs from the cloud to my work laptop so that I can share them on outloud.fm.

I've got a feeling this feature doesn't exist, but I might just be overlooking it. Is this possible? Is there a work-around?

How to scrobble Google Music to Last.fm?

Is there a way to scrobble my music from Google Music to last.fm?

I tried some extensions which did not work for Chromium (sorry for the vagueness, but I don't remember which I tried) so I was wondering if anyone had set something up which worked for them.

I don't mind if I have to use a certain browser, e.g. Firefox, Chrome, Opera -- as long as it works.

Can I export my music and edited metadata from Google Music?

I just received an invitation to Google Music. I noticed that it's possible to edit the meta data for tracks through the website including the album art. If I wanted to switch to another music hosting service later is it possible to download all my uploaded music with updated metadata?

How do I add free songs to Google Music after already registering?

When creating a new Google Music account, they suggest some free songs for you to add to the library. I've added some free songs to the library, but not all of them. Now I would like to add some more. How?

Will re-uploading songs update existing song records in Google Play?

I suffered the same problem as Force Google Music Player to refresh album art? but I fixed it manually. That is, downloaded a local copy of the music on my phone and manually updated each MP3's album art. However, the web copy is still bad.

If I "upload" the fixed mp3 files will it update the files rather than upload a duplicate of it?

I don't want to try and have the latter happen and have a huge mess to clean up.

Does Google Music match?

Does Google Music match my music with it's own database? A lot of Sources are claiming that, however it seems to just upload my Music (ie: The tags aren't updated)

What is right?

Bi-Directional Sync between Google Music and Banshee

Is there any way to sync Google Music, preferably including playlists, with Banshee on Ubtuntu 11.10?

The Google Music agent appears to download purchased and free music, but it seems to only be a one way sync (and no playlists at all).

I'd just use the otherwise excellent web app (I actually like it better than Banshee for some things) but it doesn't have the same integration with Ubuntu or the media keys on my keyboard.

Upload to two Google Music accounts (run two instances of the upload manager) [closed]

My wife and I use Google Music, but as it is now we have to run the upload manager in each of our (Windows 7) logins to upload new music to each of our accounts.

Can I run two separate instances of the upload manager in one login? It would be great to not have to login as each user and run the manager to upload new music to each of our Google Music accounts.

Force Google Music Player to refresh album art?

I use Google Music Player for a lot of my music (the stuff that required bulk-upload; for new music I greatly prefer Amazon). It's decent.

What drives me absolutely crazy though is that all my albums are imported with the wrong art. It would be one thing if most the albums showed up as "art not found", but instead, 10% of my albums show up with the album art for "Pulp", another 10% with album art for "Nick Jaina". It's just darn distracting.

I know how to change the art for a given album to a picture on my hard disk. I do not want to have to manually search out album art and upload it times a thousand.

Is there a way to force the album art to refresh? Or maybe just delete it, I don't know. At the very least is there somewhere where I can submit this bug?

How can I get Google Music Beta outside of the US? [closed]

Google's Music Beta is a dream come true, except I'm in the UK:

We're sorry. Music Beta is currently only available in the United States

Obviously I can't just go via a proxy and set up a new account in the US as I need it on the account I have and that I'm currently using with my phone. How can I get Music Beta on my phone?

Can I change the codepage of MP3 tags in Google Music?

I have many MP3s of songs in Hebrew. The tags are in Hebrew, auto-populated by Windows Media Player when I rip the CD. Windows uses the Windows Hebrew code-page (1255), which apparently Google Music doesn't like, because all the Hebrew tags come out in gibberish.

I am a fluent Hebrew speaker, and the mp3s are songs that I ripped myself (from CDs that I own), and for which I edited the tags myself, using Windows Media Player. I know how to automatically convert the code-page of an ID3 tag on my local hard disk, but not for what's already uploaded to Google Music.

When I change the code-page to the Mac Hebrew code-page (10005) before uploading to Google Music, the Hebrew comes out fine.

Is there any way to change the codepage of MP3s that I've already uploaded, or do I have to remove them and re-upload them?

In Google Music is there a limit on the number of tracks an album can have?

I'm in the process of uploading my music to Google Music and I've noticed that a few of my albums have been split into two parts.

At first I thought it was because I'd got the tagging wrong and managed to get a few tracks with the wrong album name or artist. Double checking the files on my computer shows that all is OK there.

The only thing left is the number of tracks. These are either double albums I've merged into a single folder so I can play the whole thing at once or albums with bonus tracks so that the track count reaches 20 or so.

The only thing I can think of is that there is a limit on the number of tracks per album and when you exceed that limit it splits the album into two.

I've just had a thought - it could be that the Google is looking at the original track listing and treating the tracks from the original/first CD as one album and the bonus tracks/second CD as another.

Can I apply Google's "Scan and Match" feature to music I have already uploaded?

With Google's "Scan and Match" feature, I understand that when I go to upload new music, Google will scan the music prior to uploading, and if Google has a copy already, it just adds their copy to my music collection online (instead of uploading it again). Sometimes Google's copy is higher quality than mine, so I would like to apply this to ALL of my music (including already-uploaded music). Is there any way to do this?

The alternative I see is to just delete everything and start over, but that sucks. :-(

How do you transfer Google Music from one account to another?

I spent days, maybe even weeks, uploading my music to Google Music, and now that it's available for Google Apps users, I'd love to be able to transfer it to my primary google account instead of spending/wasting time doing it again. Is this possible?

Adding files to Google music without Music Manager

I would like to add some MP3 files from my computer to Google music. Music Manager doesn't seem to let you select specific files to add. Additionally, I don't really like Music Manager to say the least. Is it possible to upload files from my computer without Music Manager?
