I am receiving spam issues in my Google Code project's issue tracker (example)
Apparently issues can't be deleted.
What is the best way to:
- Mitigate the effect of this spam?
- Prevent such spam from happening in the future?
- While still letting new users report issues.

Is there a method to download a folder from Google Code without having to use the version control system?

On Google Code I can show my support for an issue by starring it (I prefer not to add a comment saying "me too!"). On GitHub I can follow an issue (receive notifications on updates and comments), but it doesn't seem to be visible and counted the same way stars are on Google Code.
I would like to visibly show my support for a GitHub issue without leaving a comment. Is this possible?

I've been using Google Code as a regular User (not developer!) for some time, e.g. creating or commenting on issues.
However it always bothered me that it always shows my full email to me there: some.thing@gmail.com
. I'd really prefer to have been shown a short name, e.g. my first name or something. For example, when I join a Google Group I can specify a name for it.
Where can I change this for Google Code?

At the moment Google Code displays my username as a not-very-well-obscured version of my email address. This setting can be changed at https://code.google.com/hosting/settings - it can be switched to show my full email address, or my "Google Account username". By default this username is the prefix to my email address. I want to change this to something else.
If I look at https://accounts.google.com/ManageAccount I see an option to edit personal info without creating a profile. The "Edit personal information" page includes an optional nickname field. When I change the nickname, it does not change the username value in Google Code.
I do not want to create a public profile for my Google Account. Can I change the Google Code username value?

Is there a Google Code-like web application to install on your own server which supports:
- Source code versioning, e.g. with subversion, git, mercurial...
- Wiki
- Issue tracker
All in one?

I am hosting projects in Google code. I have some documents (Specs, Requirements, etc.) in Google docs as documents and spreadsheets. I need to link these documents as Downloads or Wikis in Google code. Is this possible? If yes, how to do that?
Thanks.

Besides expressing my interest in the download and being added to a counter, what other effects are there when starring a Google Code download file?

There is a Git repository that I want to be notified about. Any notificatioin would be fine: RSS would be the best, but Twitter or similar notifications are acceptable too. Unfortunately, the page is not understood by Twitterfeed:
Your feed might be empty or missing publish dates or GUIDs
Is there another service that understands Git history and pushes a notification when a new commit is made?
Actually this open source project has most of the code that would be needed to create such a service.

Here is the Atom feed I want Feedburner to use:
https://code.google.com/feeds/p/ankidroid/downloads/basic
It looks pretty valid:
<?xml version="1.0"?>
<feed xmlns="http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom">
<updated>2011-11-07T01:09:09Z</updated>
<id>http://code.google.com/feeds/p/ankidroid/downloads/basic</id>
<title>Downloads for project ankidroid on Google Code</title>
...
And feedvalidator.org says "Congratulations! This is a valid Atom 1.0 feed"
PROBLEM:
Feedburner says "We could not find a valid feed at that address"
QUESTION:
How to make Feedburner accept this feed?
Or is it a known bug?

Google Code's downloads feature allows project maintainers to upload binary files at no cost, either:
- using the web interface, or
- using an API, which is very convenient to integrate in build script.
PROBLEM: This downloads feature will be retired on January 15, 2014.
Is there an alternative?
Requirements:
- Upload file via API
- Anyone can download from direct URL, no delay nor advertisement/registration step
Preferably:
- Domain that inspire confidence in the Open Source community. For instance, a service at "gnu.org" would be better than a service at "warez.biz".
- Website usable by smartphone.
SourceForge and CodePlex have downloads, but hide them behind delay/advertisement.
Bitbucket has no advertisements, but no API to upload files.

In GitHub I can download any project's code as an archive:

Has Google code any such option to download the code as an archive?
I know that I can use http://downloadsvn.codeplex.com/ but I am wondering whether I have missed some feature on the web interface.
