Finding all posts I have written in a Facebook fanpage

Is there a way to find all posts/comments I made in a given Facebook fanpage?

View people check-ins for Facebook Page

Our business wants to reward people who check in to our Facebook place on Facebook.

Our Facebook page insights shows demographic data for people who checked in, but not the people themselves. This means I can't contact people with a reward.

Do you know of a solution?

Avoid IP-based redirect and news feed

The problem:

There are certain product pages (e.g.: film, videogames) that basing on your ip automatically redirect you to the locale of where you are living. This forces me to see only pages (and updates/feeds) in German, when I want the English ones.

No matter if I "like" the page on the redirected page or on the forced English page, I get the updates in my news feed from the German version :|

The question(s):

  • As a user of Facebook, is it possible and if yes, how (eg. with Facebook options, GreaseMonkey scripts) to avoid geo-ip redirection from pages?
  • Is it possible to receive the news feed in the desired language?

In the chat jonsca suggested me to have a look at this question from SU.SE: I know that a proxy might do the job, but sincerely it would be my last resort (right after stop caring about those pages).

Multiple admins but only one (unremovable) owner of a Facebook Page

I had a Facebook Page. I granted admin rights to some chosen fans in order to let them animate the page, with capability of inserting new articles for instance.

However, it happened that one of them removed myself from the "Admin" list.

So my question is: How can I have multiple editors for my Facebook Page with some right restrictions like preventing them from removing the creator of the page?

Grant employees rights to manage a Facebook page without using their personal account

At some point in the past, the best way we were aware of to allow employees to manage a client's Facebook business page was that we could ask the employee to add their work email address to their personal Facebook account and then the client could grant access by knowing the employee's work email address. Some drawbacks of this is that it still involved their personal Facebook account which ideally we wouldn't be asking people to have to do, and also there's the issue of reassigning permissions upon turnover.

Is this still the best way to approach this situation? Is there a better way wherein we don't have to ask an employee to use their own personal Facebook account, and also preferably where no permissions need to be reassigned if an employee's no longer with the company?

I understand that just because their personal account is used, doesn't mean that anyone viewing the page will see their personal account if the settings are done correctly - it's just that some employees feel uncomfortable using it, and there's a general business practice of not asking people to use their personal stuff.

The goal is to completely stay in compliance with the terms of service and not to do things that violate that, even if Facebook isn't catching/enforcing such violations.

Accessing a Facebook page as an administrator after account cancelation

This is a purely theoretical question but what happens if a Facebook page has only one admin and his or her account gets cancelled, for example due to terms of use violation? Is the page removed from Facebook? Is there any way to still manage it?

Changing the name of a Facebook Page

I created a Facebook Page for a web site and had the page match the name of the site.

Since then, the website has since changed its name and I need to update the Facebook Page to reflect this.

Is it possible to change the Facebook Page name?

Can a user with added role of admin invite friends to that fan page?

I created a fan page, but I have 10 friends. My friend Mary (who also likes and follows my fan page) has 800 friends.

Being the fan page creator, I understand that I can promote my fan page by inviting my 10 friends to it.

My question is: if I make my friend Mary admin of my fan page, can she promote it and invite her friends?

Or is there any other way for Mary to invite her friends to my fan page?

How to manage Facebook pages for multiple languages?

Say I have a Facebook page about dogs. I share information and links about dogs, so the pagename is "Dogs".

Say also, I share mainly information in Chinese, English and French.

Say, some people do not know all 3 languages, so are interested in information only in Chinese, other could be interested in information in English and French, but not in Chinese...

How can I manage the subscribers to the page? Should I create 3 Facebook pages "Dogs English", "Dogs Chinese", and "Dogs French" and switch sharing every article or information in respective page? How can I link that pages between each other?

Link my profile employer to company page on Facebook

The company I work in doesn't appear in the list that pops down when I type in the box "What's your employer?", but it does have a Facebook Page.

I want to "link" the page to my profile info, so when they click the company name on my profile ("Developer at __"), they arrive at the company page.

There are some tutorials around (e.g. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/link-employers-facebook-details-facebook-page/) that propose a workaround to this. However, the page code seems to have changed since this tutorial was written, and also it (apparently) requires a numeric page ID, and the page I want to link to has a vanity URL. There are also some methods to find the actual page ID by looking at image addresses and etc., but these also seem to have changed, since I can't really find the ID anywhere.

So, is there a way to do it?

URL of a deleted page is not available

I have a created a page that I had given the wrong URL to, Facebook said I could not change this URL, and so I created a new page with the correct one. I have since discovered that you can change the URL of a page (it requires a certain number of likes) so I deleted the new page and tried to change the old one to the correct URL.

This gives me an error saying the URL is not available, but going to it returns 'a page does not exist' error. Will this URL ever become free or have I locked the URL forever?

Getting an account's login details if I am an administrator of a Facebook page

I work for a business and we have a few staff members registered as admins on the business' Facebook.

However, the person who originally started the Facebook no longer works with us and we need to get the login email/username and password for the page for a newsfeed ad on that we are doing with our mobile website.

We all usually just log in and switch our Facebook accounts over to use as Page, but the ad needs the login and the password which we don't know.

How do I go about getting this information? Who can I contact?

On Facebook, can I find out who else likes a page?

I can see that 103 people "like" a page but how can I find out who they are?

With the old "group" system this was so easy!

How to make ifttt posts to Facebook look like the manually added?

I'm trying to post blog updates to a Facebook fan page and my ifttt.com task is set up like this:

enter image description here

But the result is not the same as manually adding a link from Facebook itself. I've create a picture to illustrate that:

Is there a way to make ifttt post look exactly the same as manually added FB link? If not, can you recommend some other service that would do it "properly"?
