Is there a way of combining or deduplicating contacts in the Windows 8 People app? For some reason I have double entries of many contacts (with identical names), and the app isn't smart enough to integrate them.
I have the following accounts connected:
- Microsoft (i.e. Hotmail)
- Google (including Contacts)
- Facebook
- Linkedin
- Twitter
The contacts in question have entries from Google contacts as well as Facebook.

I know there is a lot of talk of this around the net, and I have done my research, but I'm still not getting any joy.
In the People app, I have connected it with my GMail account. This is confirmed by the Google icon in the top right where it says what accounts you're connected to.
But my contacts just won't appear.
In Mail, my GMail e-mails appear fine. It's only my contacts that won't appear.
I have been into my Live.com account and confirmed that the accounts really are linked, and have been into GMail and confirmed that, yes, I really do have a contacts list.
Any ideas!?

Recently I`ve opened Skype as usual and have seen this:

All my contact lists have been duplicated. I guess this is a bug in Skype.
- How to purge redundant contact list entries?
- How to prevent this duplication from happening again?
Skype desktop version is 7.18.85.112

Currently I have all my contacts and calendar items in the cloud on my GMail account, but I have no way of syncing them between all three of my devices. How can I go about syncing them all together automatically, with the least amount of hassle.
I have thought about MobileMe, but it does not look like it supports S60 running on my Nokia E51. What other options do I have?

I have a mail with a list of recipients I would like to create an address book contact group from, but the only way I can find is to copy and add each one individually. Surely there is a way to copy the whole recipient list into a contact group?

I have two Skype account and want to merge the two contact list into one quickly. How can I do that?
Update
I found myself one way to do this, but to accept the sent contacts from the 2nd account, I have to click add contact
manually which is very tiring! Need to look for a more automatically way i.e. is there an accept all
button when recieved?

In Outlook 2013, the folder view is showing my Calendar and Contacts with a number to the right of it. I assume this means there are "unread" items in Calendar and Contacts. Perhaps my assumption is wrong on what these numbers are, but I want the numbers to be hidden. How do I do this?

I installed Windows 8 Pro a couple days ago. In the in-built "People" app, since there were options to sync contacts with several third party services like Facebook, Linkedin etc., I wanted to sync my Google contacts to the People app.
The sync was successful and all my contacts migrated properly.
However, the age old problem of custom fields not syncing between Google/Apple/Windows apps is still present.
If a field label in my Google contacts is 'iPhone', it doesn't sync! Nor do any other custom fields except 'home' or 'work' with numbers.
Is there a solution to this or any other workaround?

I just got a new Mac. My iPhone contacts are extensive and complete. I understand that if I want to sync the computer and the IPhone, I must make sure the computer is the source since all existing info on the iPhone will be overwritten.
I don't know what to do.Who can help me?

I bought 2x1GB RAM from Corsair. On both RAMs I can see that the gold contacts have little scratches. The RAM was already in a computer.
Now my question is: can the RAM still be new? Maybe the scratches are from factory tests. Or are the scratches a sign for already used RAMs?
The product was sold as new.
