I understand Kindle to be a brand name of a tablet computer. Does this mean that if I buy the "Kindle Edition" of a book I won't be able to read it on my PC or Samsung tablet? Sometimes a book in Kindle Edition is cheaper than elsewhere, but I want to know that I'll be able to read it without having a Kindle device. Is this possible?

I'm trying to figure out how much promotional credit I have before I make a purchase (stupid 1-click for digital purchases).
I do not want to check my gift card balance. I want to know how much promotional credit I have.
For example: As of writing this question, Amazon gives $1 MP3 credit with the purchase of any CD album. I've purchased a few of those, but I don't know how many MP3 credits I have. Where can I check that?
I know I've seen a page in the past with it on it, but I can't find that page now.

I just wanted to find the cheapest matress on amazon.de. To do so, I chose the category "matress" and adusted the filter to "90x200" (the size). Then I got this:
pages over pages with the same product, just minor variations, from a seller called "MetaTex".
Is there any way I can block a seller to get relevant search results?

Is there a way to add all items in an Amazon wish list to your cart? For example I created a wish list of the books needed for my fall classes. Is there a one click (or other short/easy) way to add all the items into my cart other than clicking on "Add to Cart: for each individual item?

Is there a way to use the NOT operator on Amazon?

When renting a movie from Amazon Instant Video, it says you have 24 hours to finish watching it. If I start watching a 2 hour video at the 23 hour mark, will it let me finish watching, or will it interrupt me halfway through? I'm using the PS3 version of the application if that makes any difference.

I'd like to review the insightful and witty comments I've left in response to customer reviews. I've poked around the Your Account page and I'm finding nothing.
How can I do this?

I'd like to improve my Amazon recommendations and special gold box deals by marking items that I own. I've done this in the past, and they've changed the item page so I can't find the "I own this" checkbox on the page any longer. It does appear on my recommended items page, but that's the only place I can find it. Is there any other way to mark an arbitrary item as owned?

How can I download all songs from my Amazon Cloud Drive?
The web interface doesn't provide a Select All feature, and there isn't an Amazon Cloud API like the S3 API. There is the Amazon MP3 Downloader, but that only downloads songs that you select from the web interface.
I've been thinking about using a mouse-clicking script (Automator or Python on OSX), but just wanted to check if anyone else determined a solution before I get to work.

Just checked my email after making an order at Amazon.com and saw a small "View Order" button in the subject line. I tried to look up whether this is a new feature or not but couldn't find anything.
Does anyone know about this feature and Google Mail does this for other orders? Do you know if it's possible to set up an email message sent to Google Mail so that it adds this button?
